Dirty Dogz Dayspa & Daycare is a locally owned grooming salon in North Wollongong that has been caring for dogs and cats since 2012. The salon runs cage-free in an air-conditioned space the team describes as a home-like environment, and the grooming menu spans bathing and blow-drying, hygiene and full clips, specialty clipping, dog colouring and cat grooming. Skin-sensitive coats are looked after with soap-free, sulphate-free products, and a medicated shampoo can be used on request.

The approach here leans heavily on patience and animal welfare. Owner Alysha brings more than 18 years of experience and a background as a behaviourist, and the salon makes a point of not de-matting any pet and not using sedation, relying instead on trust and perseverance to work through fear and aggression. That makes it a considered choice for anxious or reactive pets, alongside everyday dogs and cats of any size. A small midweek daycare runs on Wednesdays and Fridays for social, fully vaccinated dogs, with a trial assessment required before a place is offered.
