2. Description of Service

Groomably is an online directory of pet grooming salons and groomers in Australia. We provide:

• Business listing information (name, address, contact details, services)
• Photos of grooming work sourced from public data
• Aggregated ratings and reviews from Google
• Map-based discovery and search
• The ability for business owners to claim and manage their listings
• Optional paid featured listing subscriptions

We are an informational directory. We do not directly provide grooming services, handle bookings on behalf of groomers, or guarantee the quality of any listed business.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You may create an account using email or Google sign-in via Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

3.3 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@groomably.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Business Listing Claims

4.1 Claiming a Listing

Business owners or authorised representatives may claim their listing on Groomably. By claiming a listing, you represent that you are authorised to manage the business's online presence.

4.2 Listing Content

When you claim a listing, you may update business information and upload photos. You agree that:

• All information you provide is accurate and not misleading
• You have the right to use any photos you upload
• Your content does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights
• Your content does not contain offensive, illegal, or inappropriate material

4.3 Content Licence

By uploading content to Groomably, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on our website for the purpose of operating the directory. You retain ownership of your content and may request its removal at any time.

5. Featured Listings and Payments

5.1 Featured Listing Subscriptions

Business owners may upgrade to a Featured Listing subscription for enhanced visibility. Featured listings are offered on a monthly or annual billing cycle.

5.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

5.3 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You will be charged the current subscription rate at the time of renewal.

5.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your Featured Listing subscription at any time through your dashboard or by contacting us at hello@groomably.com. Upon cancellation:

• Your featured status remains active until the end of the current billing period
• No further charges will be made after cancellation
• Your listing reverts to a free listing at the end of the paid period

5.5 Refund Policy

We offer refunds under the following circumstances:

• Within 14 days of first payment: Full refund, no questions asked. Contact us at hello@groomably.com.
• Service issues: If we fail to provide the featured listing service as described, we will issue a pro-rata refund for the affected period.
• Duplicate charges: Refunded in full upon verification.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method via Stripe and typically take 5-10 business days to appear.

Annual subscriptions may receive a pro-rata refund for unused months if cancelled after the 14-day window, at our discretion.

6. User Responsibilities

When using our website, you agree to:

• Use the website for lawful purposes only
• Not attempt to disrupt or harm the website's operation
• Not scrape, harvest, or bulk-download data without written permission
• Respect intellectual property rights
• Verify business details directly with the groomer before visiting
• Not impersonate another person or business
• Not submit false or misleading information

7. Intellectual Property

The Groomably name, logo, website design, and original content are the property of Groomably and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

Business listing photos sourced from Google Places API are subject to Google's terms. Photos uploaded by business owners remain the property of those business owners, subject to the content licence in Section 4.3.

8. Third-Party Content and Links

Our website displays information from third-party sources and links to external websites:

• Groomer websites (external links)
• Google Maps and Google Places data
• Aggregated reviews and ratings from Google
• Advertising content (Google AdSense)

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party websites. Business information is sourced from public data and may not always be current. Always verify details directly with the groomer.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 Information Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we cannot guarantee the completeness or accuracy of all listing information. Business hours, services, pricing, and other details may change without notice.

9.2 No Endorsement

Listing on Groomably does not constitute endorsement or recommendation. Featured listings receive enhanced visibility but are not endorsed over other listings. Users should exercise their own judgement when selecting a groomer.

9.3 Service Availability

The website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access and may modify or discontinue features without notice.

9.4 Pet Safety

Groomably is a directory service only. We are not responsible for the care, safety, or wellbeing of any pet during grooming services provided by listed businesses. You are responsible for evaluating the suitability of any groomer for your pet.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Groomably shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use or inability to use our website
• Any errors or omissions in listing content
• Personal injury or property damage resulting from grooming services provided by listed businesses
• Unauthorised access to your account
• Any third-party conduct or content on the website

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Groomably, its operators, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the website, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Advertising

Our website may display advertisements via Google AdSense. By using our website, you acknowledge that:
