Bloomingtails

Blooming Tails is a boutique dog grooming salon on Artarmon's stretch of the Pacific Highway, on Sydney's Lower North Shore. Established in 2015 by owner and senior stylist Candice, the business grew out of a veterinary nursing background and a love for the family Boxer, Hunter, whose likeness lives on in the logo. Grooming sits at the heart of the operation, alongside daycare, dog walking and a Hunter Valley farmstay.

The salon leans into calm rather than rush. Natural essential oils are vaporised to settle the space, healthy treats are offered through the session, and the team blends trained vet nurses, dog trainers and creative stylists who work pet-first and are first-aid trained. All-natural, Australian-made shampoos and conditioners are used across the menu, and the salon is a proud ambassador for Andis clipper equipment. Curly and double-coated breeds, puppies easing into their first groom, and dogs that need a gentler pace are all catered for through staged visits and one-on-one consultations.

A member of the Pet Industry Association of Australia and a multi-award winner, Blooming Tails treats grooming as care rather than a production line.
