Darling Doggies Dog Grooming is a one-on-one dog grooming service in Middle Park, run by Brigitte, who trained at the Australian Dog Grooming School and started the business in 2022. The whole idea grew out of her own reluctance to leave her dogs at busy salons full of barking, cages and drying machines, so the work here is built around a single principle: quiet, calm, cage-free, one dog at a time.

Rather than a salon floor of multiple dogs, each visitor gets the room to themselves and an unhurried, gentle approach. The service runs from a location at 253C Richardson St and covers everything from a simple wash and tidy through to a full groom, with a puppy introduction for first-timers. Because the emphasis sits as much on a dog's emotional wellbeing as on the finished look, it tends to suit dogs that find noisy, high-stress environments overwhelming, as well as those that simply do better with focused, individual attention.

The outlook throughout is straightforward and dog-led: every dog is treated like family, given time, and sent home both tidy and unruffled.
