Dog FX is a dog grooming salon and daycare on Prospect Road in Prospect, just north of the Adelaide CBD, run by award-winning South Australian stylist Meagan Rachwal, who has close to twenty years behind the clippers. Every groomer on the team is trained by her, and the grooming menu runs the full range, from a tidy maintenance wash through to full-body and breed-specific clips, de-shedding for double-coated dogs, and hand stripping by appointment.

The salon runs crate-free, so dogs are free to roam and socialise with other freshly groomed dogs rather than wait out the day in a cage. Anxious dogs can be settled in their own individual pen when they need quieter space, and the team is comfortable handling the full spread of clients, from nervous and elderly dogs to large breeds like St Bernards and Black Russians. All breeds are welcome, and first-time puppies get a gentler introductory groom designed to make the experience a positive one.
