Dog Shed Pet Styling is a home-based grooming salon in Mosman, run by accredited groomer Jodie, who trained under one of Australia's master groomers. Rather than a busy commercial floor, it is a space set up inside the home where one dog is groomed at a time, with personal attention from start to finish.

Every groom begins with a consultation that takes in each pet's history, special needs and preferences, and handling leans on gentle, positive reinforcement throughout. The bath happens in a warm, massaging hydrobath, finished with a fluff dry and premium Spanish shampoo products. From there the work ranges from a simple tidy to a full cut and style by clipping, hand scissoring or hand stripping, including the teddy bear face many owners ask for. Regular de-shedding groom-outs help cut down loose coat, and de-matting is on hand when knots have set in. Because dogs are seen individually with no other animals around, the salon suits anxious pets as well as designer crossbreeds and pedigrees alike. Cats are catered for too, with washing, fluff drying and nail clipping.
