Started in 2012 and still owned by the Bache family, it pairs an established force-free daycare with a grooming room run by a team the business describes as a family of groomers with years of experience.
The grooming approach is built around keeping dogs calm. Rather than waiting in a holding area, dogs spend their breaks between baths, clips and finishing grooms in the play area, an approach the salon says helps dogs embrace future visits. Groomers take notes and provide feedback after each appointment, and the space is set up for an unhurried, comfortable groom. The salon grooms all breeds, from full finishing grooms and breed cuts through to lighter touch-ups, and hand stripping is offered for wire-haired coats. Short-haired dogs are catered for too with a wash, dry and brush-through that finishes with a nail trim.
