Kim's K9 Cuts is a newer grooming business at Woy Woy on the New South Wales Central Coast, and several reviewers make a point of saying it deserves local support. The work customers describe centres on washing, drying and nails rather than elaborate styling — warm baths, a massage and a soft blow-dry all get named specifically, along with nail trims.

What sets the feedback apart is how Kim manages dogs that find grooming hard. One owner brings both an anxious staffy, who settles enough to get through a wash and nail trim, and a sixteen-year-old pomeranian who has come to enjoy the warm bath. Another describes a dog who hates having his feet touched getting through a nail clip without a fuss. Owners say repeatedly that Kim treats their dogs as though they were her own, and more than one notes the prices are very fair.
