PawPals DayCare

PawPals DayCare is a doggy daycare and grooming salon in Bassendean, on Collier Road in Perth's inner north-east, that has operated as a locally owned business since 2014. Alongside its structured daycare, it runs a dedicated grooming parlour where the work spans tidy grooms through to full pamper sessions, all framed around comfort, kindness and the dog's wellbeing.

The grooming menu is built to match each coat and size rather than a one-style-fits-all approach. Packages range from a full groom with wash, blow-dry, nail and ear care and tailored styling, to lighter tidy grooms, de-shed treatments for double-coated and heavy-shedding dogs, and bath options finished by blow-dry or towel. Shampoo and conditioner are chosen to suit the individual dog's coat type, and dogs are accommodated by weight band from small through to extra large. A puppy groom is offered as a gentle introduction to the process for pups aged eight to sixteen weeks who have had their second vaccination.

The wider operation leans on careful assessment and a welfare-first attitude, with the team stating it would rather lose a booking than place a dog in the wrong environment.
