Paws Dog Day Care & Grooming runs its grooming room out of 61 Goodwood Road in Wayville, just south of the Adelaide CBD, where grooming sits alongside the venue's busy dog day care. The work is handled by a head groomer with more than fifteen years behind the table, who has competed at the Royal Adelaide Show and picked up Rising Star recognition along the way.

The approach is built around the same cage-free, force-free philosophy that runs through the wider day care. Dogs are washed using a hydrobath that doubles as a deep-tissue massage and cuts down time on the table, and anxious or nervous dogs are worked with at their own pace rather than rushed through harsh drying. Grooming spans everything from a simple spa wash and dry through to a deluxe full-body or breed-specific clip with scissoring, plus de-shedding aimed at double-coated breeds such as Border Collies, German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Huskies and Pomeranians. A half day of day care comes included with every groom, so dogs can settle and play around their appointment instead of waiting in a crate.

It suits owners after a calmer, unhurried grooming experience, particularly for nervous dogs and heavy shedders.
