Pretty Little Paws

Pretty Little Paws is a home-based dog grooming salon in Ninderry, on the Sunshine Coast hinterland about five minutes from Yandina and twenty from Coolum Beach. It is run single-handedly by Tahlua Tomlinson, who completed her professional dog grooming training in 2023 and opened the salon that same year out of a genuine love for animals.

The service leans warm and personal rather than production-line. The salon is run as a 100% cage and cruelty-free space, and dogs are looked after one at a time with cuddles and kisses through the whole groom, plus the chance to socialise with other animals during their visit. Grooms cover everything from a simple bubble bath through to full styled cuts, and every first-time dog gets a short style consultation so the finish suits the coat and the owner's wishes. That gentle, unhurried approach suits puppies on their first visit and dogs who do better away from a busy commercial floor.

A few sensible house rules apply: puppies need two vaccinations before grooming, recent vet work should be disclosed, and heavily matted coats may attract an extra charge.
