Pups On Parade

Pups On Parade is a locally and independently owned dog grooming salon on Douglas Parade in Williamstown, in Melbourne's western suburbs, run by owners Andrea and Andre alongside an in-house day care and a curated pup shop. Their grooming work covers full grooms, wash and tidy, bath and blow dry, and a puppy tidy for dogs under six months, with optional spa add-ons such as de-shedding, a blueberry facial, oatmeal treatment and teeth brushing.

The salon runs primarily as a cage-free environment so dogs can settle and socialise during their visit, with crates kept on hand for those who prefer their own quiet space. Grooms typically take two to four hours, a deliberately unhurried pace that keeps the atmosphere calm, and an intake form lets the team note any behavioural concerns before they start. That setup suits everyday family dogs as much as the curly and double-coated breeds the salon names as a good fit, including poodles, cavoodles, groodles, bichon frises, schnauzers, golden retrievers, labradors, French bulldogs and huskies.

With a background that runs from shelter volunteering and fostering through to years in the trade, Andrea and Andre have built a neighbourhood spot where coat care, day care and pet supplies sit under one roof.
