The Dog Stylist Mobile Grooming

The Dog Stylist is a mobile dog grooming service based in Rose Bay and run by groomer Jacqui, who works one-on-one with each dog rather than running a busy salon. Grooming happens either in a fully equipped van fitted with hot water and electricity, or at Jacqui's Rose Bay location, with the van travelling out across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.

The approach is built around keeping dogs calm and comfortable. Because there is no contact with other animals and no salon noise or distractions, the setup tends to suit puppies settling into their first grooms, elderly dogs, and pets that find the usual salon environment stressful. Coat work runs from a simple wash and dry through to a full groom, with add-ons such as de-matting, de-shedding, nail care, ear plucking and hand scissoring available to match each dog's needs. The service is currently limited to small to medium dogs up to 15kg, since larger dogs need more room than the mobile unit can safely give.

For regular clients, Jacqui suggests a full groom every six to eight weeks with a wash and tidy in between, adjusted to the breed and coat.
