The Dog Social

The Dog Social is a dog grooming salon and day spa in the heart of Manly on Sydney's Northern Beaches, sitting beside the Coles carpark entry. Grooming runs alongside supervised daycare, dental care and puppy training, plus a retail store stocking locally sourced pet products, so a single visit can cover more than a wash and tidy.

The grooming itself centres on a full styled groom with bathing and blow-dry, with nail trimming and ear cleaning included as standard, and add-ons such as dematting, de-shedding, anal gland expression and a fresh-breath dental treatment. Sessions run anywhere from 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the dog's size and coat. The team leans on gentle handling and positive reinforcement to keep nervous dogs settled, and works across a wide range of breeds from Cavoodles and Poodles to Schnauzers, Golden Retrievers and Huskies. Cats are catered for too, with comb cuts, lion cuts and de-shedding baths. The brand frames itself around community and the line "Where Every Pooch is Family".
